When we challenged our Bloggers in Big Shoes to face an S. League team, we only thought it fitting to seek out only the very best.
We are happy to announce that the Singapore Armed Forces Football Club (SAFFC) has graciously agreed to participate in this event.
SAFFC, also known as the Warriors, has the best track record in the S.League. They have won the S.League championship an unprecedented 8 times in the 14-year history of the S.League.
SAFFC has an established history in community outreach programme which includes the school, grassroots and the less-privileged.
When we brought the concept of Bloggers in Big Shoes to their table, they did not hesistate to help us. These guys are great footballers with plenty of heart. The Warriors are a perfect example of how football can be used to help the community and society.
We are deeply moved by their eager anticipation and we look forward to a great match!
